Become Part of a World-First: The Triple Crown of Antarctica
We are looking for three people to join me on this groundbreaking unsupported expedition: skiing from Hercules Inlet through crevasse fields to the base of Mount Vinson, summiting Antarctica’s highest peak (4,892 m), descending, and then skiing to the Geographic South Pole — all in one continuous, self-powered journey. No one has ever completed this exact combination unsupported.
2 full team members will join me on the ice for the entire expedition (total of 3 people on the route).
1 standby / backup member will train with the team and be ready to step in if needed due to injury, illness, or any other issue.
This keeps the team small, safe, and truly self-reliant in one of the harshest environments on Earth.
Become Part of a World-First: The Triple Crown of Antarctica
Who We’re Looking For
Ages ideally 18+. We are deliberately opening this opportunity to a wider range of motivated people. While direct polar or high-altitude experience is valuable, it is not essential. What matters most is a strong growth mindset and genuine commitment.
We want people who:
Are physically fit and willing to train hard to reach the required standard
Have (or are ready to develop) solid skills in long-distance skiing with heavy sleds, glacier travel, crevasse rescue, and cold-weather camping
Possess strong mental resilience and the ability to thrive in isolation and extreme conditions
Work well as part of a small, supportive team — no egos
Are enthusiastic about actively helping to raise the £250,000 needed for the expedition
Can commit the necessary time off work for full preparation in 2026 and the expedition itself (November 2027 – January 2028)
If you don’t have extensive expedition experience yet but are willing to train intensively, attend relevant courses, and put in the hard work during 2026 to close any gaps — we want to hear from you. Too many capable people get overlooked simply because they lack the “right” CV. This is your chance if you’re driven enough to earn it.
What Will Be Expected of You
Commit fully to the 2026 training programme (polar ski hauling, crevasse rescue, endurance work, high-altitude simulation, gear testing)
Actively participate in fundraising — using your networks, social media, events, sponsor outreach, and personal efforts to help reach the £250k goal
Work as a true team player — supporting each other through challenges
Take significant time off work for the expedition window (approximately 8–10 weeks including travel and buffer)
Maintain excellent fitness and health throughout preparation
Represent the expedition professionally to sponsors, media, and the public

What You’ll Get
The opportunity to be part of a genuine world-first achievement
All expedition costs covered (flights, permits, logistics via ALE) through collective fundraising
Training support and access to high-quality expedition gear
Lifelong bonds and an incredible story to tell
Personal growth in one of the most extreme environments on the planet

How to Apply
The simplest way is to email me directly at: dominicivanfodenrenshaw@gmail.com
Please include in your email:
Your full CV or resumé
A list of any relevant experience (or clear gaps and how you plan to address them in 2026)
A personal statement covering:
Why you want to be part of this world-first expedition
What you would bring to the team
How you would handle the physical and mental challenges
Your thoughts on contributing to fundraising
Your training plan if you have limited polar/mountaineering experience
Two references (from coaches, previous expeditions, employers, or people who know your character and work ethic)
Evidence of your current fitness level.
Subject line suggestion: Triple Crown Team Application – [Your Name]
I will review every application personally.
Strong candidates will be invited for a video call to discuss fit and commitment. Applications are open now. Final selection (2 core members + 1 standby) will be made by late 2026.
If you’re motivated, ready to train hard, and excited to help make history — even if you’re still building your experience — I encourage you to apply. This expedition is about heart, commitment, and teamwork as much as it is about previous miles on the ice.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
